At Amarillo Foot Specialists we don’t believe in a “cookie-cutter” approach to podiatric care. We treat patients of all ages from children up through adults and seniors. We take the time with each patient to learn their history and listen to their needs so that we can develop a treatment plan for their foot and ankle problems that will be the best for their individual situation. Our podiatrists are highly trained on the latest surgical interventions, but our first approach is always to look for a conservative treatment method for common conditions such as hammertoes, bunions, and plantar fasciitis. We believe in educating our patients about the health of their feet and ankles and helping them be proactive in preventing podiatric problems. Whether you’re in acute pain or are experiencing chronic discomfort, our foot doctors are experienced in treating all types of foot and ankle disorders, including diabetic foot and wound care, athlete’s foot, ankle sprains, limb salvage, crush injuries, flat feet, warts, heel spurs, high arches, neuromas and much more. All of our compassionate and caring staff is dedicated to providing prompt attention and comfort throughout the examination and treatment process. We know how busy families are today and that’s why we offer digital x-rays, orthotics, and other podiatric services on site. Brandon Holloway, DPM
Dr. Brandon Holloway is originally from Idaho but now enjoys raising his family in the Texas panhandle. He attended college at Brigham Young University-Idaho and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 2011. He completed a 3-year comprehensive surgical residency in reconstructive foot surgery and ankle surgery at Texas A&M Health Science Center/Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. His residency included thorough training in Diabetic foot care, sports medicine, trauma, limb salvage, pediatric podiatry, and foot and ankle surgical interventions. He takes a special interest in bunion and hammertoe surgeries as well as flat foot reconstruction. Dr. Holloway and his wife Rachel have 5 children. He enjoys camping, hiking, reading, and spending time with his family, He is an avid runner who has participated in multiple races from a 5k to a 100-mile ultra, and loves to be out and active.

Dr. Mark Thompson
Dr. Mark Thompson is a board qualified podiatrist who is dedicated to his patients. He attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California, followed by a three year residency near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There he was well trained in both surgical and non-surgical foot and ankle care. Dr. Thompson and his wife Megan have two beautiful boys, ages 1 and 3. They love to be outdoors and spend time as a family. Dr. Thompson has an adventurous spirit and loves rock climbing, running, biking, reading, and laughing. He is thrilled to make Amarillo their home and be a part of such a wonderful community.
